She’Nee Young-Baker has been named the new principal of Travis Elementary School. Now entering her 20th year in education, Mrs. Young-Baker began her career as an English/Language Arts teacher before earning a master’s degree in School Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University. She has served as a licensed specialist in school psychology, a district coordinator supporting academic and behavioral interventions, and, most recently, as an elementary campus principal for the past four years. Mrs. Young-Baker looks forward to working alongside the dedicated team at Travis Elementary to build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and the Lamar CISD community.
